About Us
The mission of Norwalk Hospital Foundation is to generate philanthropy and awareness to support Norwalk Hospital in being a leader in advanced medical care for the region.
Philanthropy supports world class medical care to meet the highest level patient expectations:
- Providing quality compassionate patient-centered care for all patients
- Building state-of-the-art facilities with innovative new technologies and equipment
- Developing and providing progressive educational programs to ensure medical personnel are up-to-date on the most recent treatments and quality of care
- Attracting and retaining the best, brightest, and most dedicated physicians, nurses and other medical staff
- Leading relevant research in key areas in medicine and surgery
The Foundation raises, stewards and coordinates philanthropic funds in accordance with donor intent. Charitable gifts of cash, appreciated securities, bequests, estates, corporate and foundation gifts are welcomed.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Norwalk Hospital Foundation is directed by a full-time professional staff and a voluntary board of trustees.
